Tilii is a program developed specifically for teenagers. It offers a series of opportunities to tell it like it is, to be listened to, and to work together to create outcomes with meaning and effect.
Tilii explores:
What is unique about you?
What experiences have you had? and How do those experiences affect you?
What confuses you?
What do you struggle with?
What are you afraid to say?
Where do you want to go?
Who do you want to be?
What support do you need to get there?
Through a series of dynamic experiential processes, Tilii participants will come to:
- know themselves better
- understand more about how they operate
- have a better handle on issues they face
- make more effective decisions
- have better relationships
- create better personal outcomes
- contribute more effectively
- be free to be more of themselves
- and more...
Much of what teenagers face today, and what they are being called upon to deal with - now and in the future, will be made easier, more relevant and offer more opportunities and fewer challenges when they can Tell it Like it Is.
There are any number of people willing to say 'how it is' for teenagers, and what needs to be better or different from them or for them. Tilii is a program about giving teenagers an opportunity to speak from their own perspective, with their own knowledge about who they are, what they think and feel. It's about meeting the individual where they are at, making sense of how they got there, and responding appropriately and in a way that actually feels as if 'someone gets it'.
We believe that once a person feels as if someone is actively working to try and understand how it is for them; why they do the things they do; the person they are, then the impetus to start to move towards a life that 'just works better' becomes a natural outcome.
Tilii is a one day program, designed to be delivered at School Venues and for the general public.

Participant groups are limited to 30 participants, to enable greater facilitator-participant interaction. Wherever possible, we recommend and ensure participant groups be organised into 13-15 years and 16-18 years sections to facilitate age appropriate discussion and interaction.
The Tilii program structure incorporates a broad range of theories and methodologies, and is presented to create the necessary safety and relationship with the Tilii Facilitation Team to enable each participant and each participant group to create personally meaningful outcomes. As such, the standard Tilii structure is sufficiently flexible to support the introduction of additional material to work with issues specific to particular groups and individuals. Tilii is therefore truly reflective of the concept that the need to respond to the 'here and now' is infinitely more important than remaining steadfast to a stated course of action because 'it's good for us' or 'what we've always done' or the 'status quo'.
Tilii is faciliated by Psychotherapists who specialise in personal and professional development experiences with individuals and groups. The facilitation intention is always to encourage and promote the individual agency of the participant, and to respect and encourage the skills and abilities that are naturally present.
Tilii Facilitators have current Working with Children Certificates.
