ARE YOU FREE ON THE WEEKEND OF 13th,14th, & 15th November, 2009?
What is Stand & Deliver?
Stand & Deliver is a weekend course for anyone who wants to improve their skills in public speaking, being in relationship, being assertive or being creative. It's also for people who are willing to see what happens when you let go of the short leash you have on life, and let yourself make a few mistakes! Here's your chance to have a weekend playing games and experiencing processes derived from Theatresports and Improvisational Theatre, but with a special personal development twist!
It's new, it's fresh, it's hysterically funny and it's guaranteed to make changes in your life.
Who can do it?
Anyone who has completed The Turning Point is eligible for Stand & Deliver. Even if you've already done Being Upfront, Stand & Deliver has new and different material for you to get your mind, body and heart around :)
Stand & Deliver is about challenging fear and not letting it hold you back. It's about going with it and stepping forward. Stand & Deliver will further enhance a deeper, richer, wholehearted expression of you whilst being willing to risk what holds you back. It's a comfort zone that once stretched, will enable you to step into an entirely new paradigm. Through improvision and experiential play, you can explore and develop a fuller relationship with yourself and others.
Who teaches it?
Stand & Deliver is facilitated by Frank Zoumboulis, the lead teacher of Being Upfront. If you've never met Frank or had the privilege of working with him, you're in for a complete treat of fun, hysterical laughter and exceptional insight and clarity. Frank is a trained psychotherapist, with a background in dance, drama and improvisionational theatre. He's been involved in teaching personal development work for many years now - and is one of the most genuine men you'll meet. If you've worked with Frank - you'll leap at the chance of having another weekend with him at the helm of a life-changing personal development program. Frank is supported by a team of senior team members and teachers. This will be a weekend you won't forget.

And a quick P.S...
What is Improvisational Theatre and Theatresports?
Improvisational theatre allows an active relationship with the audience without scripts. For this reason, it's a perfect forum for getting to better understand yourself, others, and the message you are trying to get across. In order for an improvised scene to be successful, the people involved must work together responsively to define the parameters and action of the scene. It's a test of engagement in the here and now, accepting the offers that are available to you, being able to extend a thought or action or behaviour - all in the name of engaging the people you are delivering to.
Theatresports® is a funny and frenetic form of improvised theatre in which teams of people take it in turns to build scenes around initial ideas provided to them. The team of the moment must build a narrative from these scraps with only a few seconds to prepare. What ensues is nerve-wracking for the performers but usually hilarious to the audience. Embarrassment always threatens but it is worth it when you create a brilliant scene at a moment's notice. There is no greater thrill to be had in personal development. There's also no better way to develop your capacity to bring you into each interaction you have, and to fine tune your capacity to deliver your message.
Enhance your capacity to go with the flow, laugh, and find out just what you're capable of...You'll be AMAZED at what you can do when you give something new a go!!!

Got more questions?
Ring TLA on 1300 13 10 98 and ask. If you want a course syllabus, we're sorry, but we can't give you one. One of the fundamental rules of Improvisational Theatre is free-falling without a script. We've got lots of things for you to try!
